If Christianity is indeed false, how could such a great multitude of people (believers) be decei… by David D Spilker https:
For eons of time, most, if not all, people thought the earth was flat and the center if the universe. As they became educated, and experiments were done, it was found those ideas weren’t true. So the numbers of people uneducated or disinterested in a subject doesn’t make their opinion fact, no matter their number. And the population who say they believe includes an unknown number (I think larger, rather than smaller) who are declared believers, but in reality are either sceptics or atheists. These people don’t want to face the negative reactions that true declaration would entail, so they declare a theistic belief knowing their duplicity can never be uncovered. EG: A politician in Alabama could never get elected as an atheist, but running as a Bible-thumping believer generates acceptance and benefits. He could even be elected president, and no one would ever know.
